Elyria: a possible optional transport partner
Elyria Drone Shipping is a separate company. AuroraMed may one day let a facility send a transport order to it. This is a plan, not a service.
Planned partner integration
What the plan is
- An optional interface: a facility could place a transport order for a cargo class, origin, destination and time.
- The order would carry no patient data beyond the minimum, for example a specimen accession number.
- A facility that does not enable it sees nothing of it.
Caveats that come first
- AuroraMed does not operate flights and is not a delivery service.
- Aviation approvals in Peru have not been obtained. Non-medical cargo would come first.
- Specimens or blood would need certified aircraft, a validated cold chain, chain of custody and insurance.
- Legal set-up and insurance between the companies are still open.
- Any pilot location is a plan only. There are no flight prices to publish.
Nothing here means drone delivery, blood transport or any flight service exists. Elyria makes its own statements about its own business.
