Designed around the patient’s rights
Patients do not use AuroraMed directly today. There is no portal. The design gives patients consent control and much faster access to their own records than the 72-hour norm, as a goal we have not yet measured.
The design Designed
- Patient records never go on the shared ledger, so correction and deletion can be honoured where law allows.
- Consent captured per purpose and recipient, and revocable.
- Patients can see who accessed their record.
- Corrections are recorded as appended amendments.
Today Pilot
- A privacy officer can produce a per-patient access report and disclosure log.
- Sensitive records can be flagged VIP or restricted.
- National IDs are masked, and revealing one needs a stated purpose and is audited.
No portal, wallet-signed consent or self-service request exists yet.
