The installed and live pilot is version 0.2.0. It holds synthetic data only and is not for real patients.

C0375What is Memo Desk?

A mail-style internal inbox for formal or long messages with folders, priorities, to and cc by user or role, read receipts, threaded replies and acknowledged formal notices. Attachments are by reference only.

C0376How does instant messaging work?

Direct and group channels inside one facility with sent, delivered and read receipts, presence, retry without duplicates and a read-only system channel. External addresses are rejected and there is no end-to-end encryption.

C0377Can patients message staff through it?

No. Instant messaging is workforce-only. Patient communication is designed for the portal, which is not built.

C0378What alert types exist?

Pings at standard, urgent and emergency levels, result alerts routine and critical, and facility code alerts including imminent-threat alerts. Each has a different presentation and acknowledgement rule.

C0379What happens on an active-shooter alert?

A hold-to-confirm action raises a full-screen takeover on every connected client that overrides lock and Do-Not-Disturb and cannot be swiped away. It reaches connected terminals only, not pagers, phones or overhead paging.

C0380Who can cancel an imminent-threat alert?

A two-person rule: an eligible role starts cancel and a different eligible person confirms within a window. Which two people qualify is an open owner decision.

C0381Which codes are included?

Twenty-two editable templates such as Code Blue, Red, Pink, Silver, Rapid Response, Stroke and STEMI. Meanings are typical usage; each facility confirms its own.

C0382Can a facility edit codes?

Yes with propose-and-approve by a different person, versioned history and a plain-language mode that hides colours.

C0383Do charts update live?

Yes in the pilot: a nurse's new entry appears in a doctor's open chart through a live push with a LIVE tag, limited to users allowed to see that patient.

C0384Can nurses enter vitals?

Yes, basic vitals, notes and intake and output. Structured flowsheets are not built.

C0385Are clinical notes with signing available?

Coming. The pilot has basic free-text notes. Note signing, templates and addenda are part of a Wave 2 release that is rolling out and is not yet verified.

Coming. The pilot supports free-text orders only. Structured order entry is part of the Wave 2 work that is rolling out and is not yet verified.

C0387Are lab and imaging simulators included?

Coming. The pilot already has a synthetic result-publishing interface. More complete simulators are part of Wave 2 and they remain simulations, not real connections.

Coming. A forms engine is part of Wave 2 work that is rolling out. The forms library on this site is a set of mock design drafts.

Coming. The roster and policy exist in the pilot; a matrix view is part of Wave 2 work that is rolling out.

Not yet. Scheduling and check-in are planned.

Not built. Charges, claims and remittance are planned.

C0392Is a patient portal available?

No. Patients cannot sign in to AuroraMed today; the roster has patient roles but they grant nothing. A portal with proxy access, consent choices and record requests is designed and has not been started.

Not built. Only the coded medication list and reconciliation exist.

C0394Does it support telehealth?

Secure video visits are designed and not built.

C0395Are inpatient bed management and ADT available?

Not yet. Bed management and admit-discharge-transfer messaging are planned for the hospital tiers. The pilot has visits (ambulatory, inpatient, emergency) as registration records, but no bed board and no ADT feed.

C0396Is there an emergency department module?

Not yet. An emergency department tracking board, triage flow and EMTALA documentation are designed for hospital tiers. In the pilot the only emergency-related pieces are the emergency visit type, code alerts and break-glass access.

C0397Are radiology and lab information systems included?

Planned, not built. The pilot has a synthetic results interface only.
